San Francisco-based artist, Lori Beth Milburn, has had a strong connection to animals and nature since her earliest days, having spent time as a young child on her grandparent’s farm and endless summer days playing on the backyard beach of her family home in Wisconsin.
Her art playfully catches the essence and personality of her subjects and her photographs capture unique perspectives on familiar scenes and the beauty inherent in nature.
Lori has channeled her childhood fascination with magazines, typography, and photography into her collage work through which runs a distinct thread of whimsy and humor. Her colored pencil, acrylic painting, and mixed media pieces possess exceptional vibrancy, color saturation, texture, and movement.
